Where did you get the serial from? The code for that serial is the one I posted above! If it is not working then the serial is wrong, have you removed the unit and checked the back?
If the serial is the one you gave then then the unit can only have been re-coded in the past, if this is the case you will have to take it to a de-coder to have it redone.

Is that the case for all of the VDO radios? I am also struggling to get a code for my CDR500 and was trying to avoid the £24 charge at main dealer. My serial number is GM050011164944. VDO326559176.

Need to get some music before a mammoth road trip with a little one at the weekend!
