Leave switched ON...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to reset.
This could be between 10 minutes and 640 minutes (nearly 11 hours) depending on how many wrong codes have been entered ....The time doubles after each wrong code.
However the normal reset time is usually no more than a couple of hours.
