It's a long shot but does anyone know the code for a FORD MONDEO 6000 cd player thingy with the SERIAL NUMBER M149046? I've tried downloading specialist software which didn't work and the ford dealership are asking for £25 that I don't have

hi can anyone help me i have a ford focus ghia 55 plate
i have changed the batt and my cd player hase gone off and i need a 4 digit code.
i have seen people asking for a serial number behind the cd player mine is one of them built in ones.
i dod have a card with a key code i presumed it was for replacement key but that as a serial number on there of M138163
it has a key code on there and i have tried but that dont work
can anyone give me any advise please i will be forever greatfull.
