Sorry this Serial Number is not in my PHILIPS database and I don`t think it will be available from anyone on these free Help Boards who use any limited database
Larger database required so try your Main Dealer or a larger, professional Radio Decode Specialist via Ebay or Google search.
You could try ringing different Vauxhall Main Dealers to see if you can "blag" one for free ...or at least cheaper than £25.
Tell them you are a single man garage business ...It sometimes works if you`re cheeky enough.0 -
RegWorts - Thanks for trying and the information.
I am still working on getting the old radio out of the dash. I will give notice if it worked.
bent coathanger wire / four long, slim nails /four darts/ four small allen keys/four small screwdrivers.
I feel a "Two Ronnies" sketch coming on !
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
If you try pushing the outer parts of your four "bits" towards the centre of the radio faceplate ...and get an assistant to prise the radio out.
Or send the missus down to Halfords with a short skirt and a smile to ask one of their assistants?0 -

On the side it says on red label;
89FB-18K876-AB
bar code
hope you can help
Thanks
These older Fords with a three digit code could use either a seven digit Serial Number or a six digit one beginning with L to calculate the correct code digits.
Noting your barcode numbers
Ford sound 2000
FD 2005 L0677745
Barcode
then using
0677745 Code is 222
or using
L677745 Code is 346
Let me know if either are correct

Never got to the second code as I had used up the 3 chances of entering the code, don’t suppose you know a way of freeing it up to give me a chance of entering the last code?
Thanks0 -
