0444 is the correct code for M001684

If this does not work then it must be the wrong Serial Number in the Audio Guide / paperwork..

The correct Serial Number is the one found on a label on the radio casing so the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard.

Sometimes pressing buttons 1&6 together or 2&6 together will display the Serial Number.

Removal of the monitor is not required as the serial number can be obtained by pressing and holding the "AUTO/O" button for around 5 seconds, where the unit will display both the serial number and the VIN number of the vehicle it is currently fitted to.
