I dont know if anyone can help but in my audio guide the system keycode says it should be '8420' but every time i enter this code and eneter '5' it keeps coming up with 'wait 30:00' on the display. I'm on entry number 6 now. I hope someone can help!! I havent got the prongs to take the stereo out to get the serial number and that isnt in my audio book either. Many thanks if anyone can help!!

i have bought a ford zetec which was registered in 1999 and the stereo\radio cassete is locked it comes up saying wait 30 and countsdown then asks for a code?

the only numbers i can find on it are:

model: fd3000
then there is a single W
then serial number:M080386

i hope somebody can help cause ford want to charge £25 for the code:mad:

thanks for the code molerat your a godsend.

i only had 2 try's left including your code before it locked the stereo for good cause the previous owner had been puttin in random codes.

anyhow its up and running now so thanks again for your help and quick response.

I'm going to sell my car, so I've taken my Sony cd player out and am attempting to put back in the original Ford Cd player.

I've entered what I thought was the correct code from audio guide that came with the car but its not working. Can someone confirm what the code should be.

Model - Ford 6000CD RDS
Serial no - M022941



Also when I turn the unit on, before the option to enter a keycode comes up it displays IM0 1286. Is this normal & what does it mean?
