Hi, i just bought a transit and the battery had been disconnected, so the cd player now just says CODE.

the cd player serial number is M086604

Hi, I'm struggling with this & would really appreciate if anyone could furnish me with the code for my Philips CAR 400 stereo...

I got this 2nd hand and it doesn't have a display. I would also appreciate instructions as to how to enter the code and how long I have/what to do if I get it wrong. So far I tried a guess with the following procedure:

Held down the 'AS' key
Switched on the radio by pressing the volume button, still holding down the 'AS' key
<after a few seconds there was a beep sound> (good sign)
Pressed keys 1-4 to enter the code
Pressed the 'AS' key again
<there was another beep sound the same as the first>

2nd time I tried it no more beeps so I guess I am now locked out

very difficult with no display but it would be good to know at least I had the right code!!

anyways, any help would be very very much appreciated!!

The code supplied with my daughters car was incorrect. Can you please help, the serial no is M029624

Post the 14 character Serial Number found stamped in the metal casing. It normally begins with GM0400++++++++

If you have no display

To enter the code "blind" just add one extra "press" to each digit. This is because the first press displays 0 , the second press displays 1 ....etc.

To reset the radio after wrong codes , press AS plus ON button and leave for a couple of hours.

Then enter the code (remember code digits + 1 extra press each time)

Then press AS
