Car Radio Unlocking

Hello..I originally posted on 29/03/11


I have had to change the battery on my Ford Escort van and now need a code to make the radio work..
It is a 6000 CD RDS E-O-N

this flashes up on the display T553 JJN

I have finally got the prong things to take the radio out and the serial number is M019369

Can anyone help me with the code to make it work again

trying to fix my mums old ford granada CD player but the code seems wrong.
Its a 2028 serial no:0034843 the code i was told is 667 but this does not work.
The 3 bars are solid now and dont flash to enter the code WHAT DO I DO.

Thanks for that have checked that site, i think on the cd it just comes up with 3 bars and does not say CODE ( i will check) the bars are now solid i read somwhere else you have to put you key in and turn to no1 on ignition and leave for 309 mins to get the bars flashing again is this correct.

Hi,

Code entry is only possible when the three lines are flashing on the display. If the bars are not flashing, then the unit is codelocked and will have to be left switched on for up to two hours to reset.

Hi, does anyone have the code for 6000 series radio from a Mondeo, serial M021536? I've just spent an hour with two guys from Halfords ripping (literally) the flaming thing out!
