I'm not sure about this one.
The current software I have says that it can use Vauxhall codes but I've personally never used that part.

If you do have the serial no, would you be kind enough to put it on here, so me or someone else may be able to help?

Hi, I have a 53 reg Vauxhall Astra which needed a new battery a few months ago and now the radio doesn't work. Can anyone please help me save £24 (the price Vauxhall charge for supplying the code!)

It's a Philips radio and the numbers are;
1 614 438
GM 90 506 173
PA6 - GF15

Any help would be much appreciated

It will not be available for free from anywhere on the Internet as year 2003 is not in the available Philips database

Sorry....Main Dealer or Radio Decode Service only for all VDO/SIEMENS/DELCO CDR500 codes...(including yours.)


It will not be available for free from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database which is not commercially available.

The correct 3 digit code for C218233 is 892

If you are using the Ford Calc software (32kb) that does L , C and old 7 digit codes then it has a known problem in its calculator algorithm .(on some calculated codes there is an incorrect single digit difference)
