  • I don't suppose you can help me out as well, would be greatly appreciated. Mine's a 6000CD series with S/N: M030063.
I have the book and it says the code is 0447 but when I enter it, the stereo doesn't recognise it, very strange..

Hi Can anyone help me. I have just got my car back from the garage from having the clutch fixed and now my stereo is asking me to input the code. The code I have written in my service book doesn't seem to work and the main dealer want to charge me £20 + VAT to sort it. It is a Ford stereo from the 6000Cd series. The serial number is MO11936. Any help would be appreciated.
    code 3128

Switch the radio on and the word CODE should appear in the display
Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.

Once the code has been correctly selected on the radio's display, press button 5 to enter.
Hope this has helped you :j

if the given serial is off of the radio and not out of a book the code is 0447
Switch the radio on and the word CODE should appear in the display
Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.

Once the code has been correctly selected on the radio's display, press button 5 to enter.

if not please post the serial off of the radio casing
Hope this has helped you :j
  • Thanks Hay, the serial was out of the book, so I guess it's wrong. Will have to get the radio out and check the casing :D

    Thanks,

This is the same code I have tried 4 times and my stereo has rejected it. The only thing I can think of is that the stereo may have been replaced before I got the car and the new stereo details were not passed on.

Thank you for your help anyway.
