The radio will have to be removed from the dashboard.

Please post the 14 character SERIAL NUMBER beginning with RN************

Also post the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode

Hi quick one for you all my battery was low the other week as not used for a while as waiting to get fixed it didn't die totally but my stereo now looks like its working but the volume is almost gone a can just hear it on full so I think I need to get a code

So, how do I get the unit out to find the model as It's not in my paperwork its a big unit in a 53 Mondeo zetec the newer stereo than the earlier models

Thanks for any help and does it sound like something that would fix with a code if I disconnect the battery.
