Remove the radio from the dashboard and quote the radio MAKE , MODEL and ALL the LETTERS + NUMBERS on any LABELS , BARCODES and STAMPED IN THE CASING.

Hi,

Was recommended your thread and hope you may be able to help me too. I just bought a 2000 W-reg Escort Van with a Ford Traffic 3000 radio. The battery on the van has been changed and the previous owner tried to guess the code (Doh!) so it is now telling me to wait whilst a timer counts down to re-enter the code. I followed your previous advice and looked on the radio and the serial code is M048 388.
