  • I purchased a Ford Radio/CD player over the weekend from someone who had just written off their Ford Mondeo, the code with the Radio does not seem to work? am I inserting it correctly? please help.

The Radio is a FD 6000 CD/Radio with a serial number: M034497. Can you provide a code and describe how to input please.

I currently have a Ford Fiesta with a Radio/Casette player that does not require a keycode.

    Thanks in advance

Switch the radio on and the word CODE should appear in the display
Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.

Once the code has been correctly selected on the radio's display, press button 5 to enter.

the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet
is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
    C 7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.
If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service
or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
    inside your radio
Hope this has helped you :j
  • Thanks, I will try to find the other number.
