If this is a later Ford and you have obtained this Serial Number by pressing two buttons then it looks like a V Serial Number.


If so then these V Serial Numbers are not available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database

(If not, then remove the radio from the dashboard and quote the Serial Number printed on a label on the casing)

You certainly are kept very busy on this thread and you need to be commended for you sterling work. I am sure there are many grateful motorists now listening to music, at minimum cost.

Mrs Flyboy has recently acquired a Vauxhall Astra with a code that doesn't appear to match the stereo on the car, I would be eternally grateful if you find the code for her (in other words, she will stop giving me eternal earache ).
