there is no code beginning with 7 ?? normally there is a code beginning with a 7 on a blaupunkt ,but its a bp9150 changer with the 5,6,7 number 769,so calculate begins with 769,try it .

My dad has a Mondeo that the Radio has been locked on since he bought it.
The Serial code is:

M1177447

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You hadn`t mentioned previously that it was a BP9150 changer.(even though these digits are in your quoted BP Serial Number, they are not always the actual model )
According to my information, if this is the case then the model number beginning with 7 should be 7 607 769 150....which would then produce your code of 3331...which I assume is the correct code for your unit.

Should be M plus six digits
