I'm in the same boat here, battery went flat and radio now locked.

Car: Ford Focus TDCi
VIN: WF0AXXWPDA2U36340
Radio model type: 6000CD (Unit type is FD 600A 2)
Serial number: M413293

If you can help that would be great, otherwise off to the dealer I guess. Thanks.

Thanks very much! Unfortunately it didn't work On closer inspection my radio is not the one the car originally came with. So I think I will need to get it out and get the correct serial number off the side. Then I will come back here!!

I put my code in a secure place so in the event of me having to use it I could find it. The safe place turned out to be too safe as I cannot find the dam thing..Can someone please help...
