Hi, can anyone supply a code for:
serial number: M010499
Car: Ford Focus 2000 plate

Hi,

My battery went dead on my Vauxhall corsa and now my radio is in safe mode. It looks like you need specialist equipment to pull the stereo out in order to get the serial number. Does anybody know a way of getting the code without it ?

I know its highly unlikely so sorry if a daft question but thought i'd try before I work out how to get radio out !

msfoxyman ... try this :

1) Turn radio off
2) Start engine
3) Press and hold down AS button
4) Turn On radio WHILE holding down the AS button until there is a beep
5) Dial the code using the 1, 2, 3, 4 keys (eg: 1234 would be 1 once, 2 twice, 3 three times and 4 four times)
6) Press and hold AS button for approx 5 seconds

there is another number there: 7 647 249 380
Please, Audi dealer wants 50 plus VAT for it

Main Dealer or a Decode Service who will plug it into a laptop and electronically read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
