My car broke down last week in the snow and I had it repaired this week. I've gone to start the car for the first time today and my radio is asking for a code. I would appreciate any help to get it working again

I can see that people are posting their serial numbers, where can I find this? My car is a W reg Ford Fiesta. It still has the original radio.

I pressed 6 + 1 on my radio, so I'm guessing this is my serial number:

Turn the key to the first stop and turn radio on. The word SECURE will appear. Leave for up to an hour. At some point CODE will appear. using the first 4 numbers on programme selector put radio code in then press the /\ (up) arrow on the RHS - hey presto

Thanks hay88, I guess I will have to try that but I'm a bit worried about pulling the radio out and not being able to get it back in. Another poster said pressing 6 & 1/2 would display the serial number?

Hi,

You seem to be the oracle of unlock codes and I really hope that you can help me out too. The battery died in my mum's '02 Berlingo recently and now the radio needs to be unlocked...I can't believe that the garage think it's OK to charge £20-30 for this!
