Car Radio Unlocking

he all, my partners car cd player (standard nissan micra 1.2s 2003) does not start, it just displays the word code.

after looking around suprise surprise we need a code but we do not have.

i have come across this page , we are unable to get to the serial number for the player as it is all encased into the dashboard and can not seem to remove player.

the vechicle identifiaction number is SJNFBAK12U1033079

can anyone help ?

hi , many thanks for the very quick reply, i have looked on the site but it shows 93-2002 old micra this one is the new shape. 2003 model. the stereo is completly different to the one on that site.

Not good enough . People are googling Ford radio for free and top result is

Ford Radio for Free ... has a post count of 15,000 name another thread on this site that has that number,

your link is for all radio codes , but the Ford section is twice as busy
If moleRat . Sottishsnapper , hay88 and Hoofehearted can supply codes lets make it as easy as possible.

Hi, i have just got an x reg escort estate, which has a locked stereo. One mechanic says that means it has completly gone, and i will need a new stereo, so - before i try and figure out how to remove the stereo unit to get the series no etc. is there any point in doing this or should i just save for a new one?

What does it show on the screen, LOCK10 or LOCK13 ? if the former it is recoverable.
