Just brought a Citreon Saxo, But its had a new alternater and battery and now the radio wont work
Model is PU-2294B(D)
Serial is CL040220769072
I dont mid paying but the only site so far that guarantee it that looks trusting wants £20 and i can get a new stereo for that
any help appreciated
is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
C 7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.
If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service
or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
inside your radioHope this has helped you :j0 -

I had to remove the radio in my Astra to fix the aerial connection. The plugs are on the cage and not on the radio, so as soon as I pulled it, it disconnected from the power. I think Vauxhall do it on purpose.
I bought a 'car pass' from Vauxhall but the code does not work with my unit! The radio must have been changed at some point.
So now I'm in trouble and still need the code. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Unit: CDR500 GM050011135721
Many thanks.Hope this has helped you :j0 -
I have a Ford Focus registered 2002, serial number T123412 (at least I think thats the serial number...) and I'm locked out of my stereo.
Many Thanks!0 -
I'm a fool, the serial number I submitted above is obviously incorrect.
My serial number is M153508
The Car is a 2002 registered Focus however the top of the stereo has DEC 06 written on it, I assume its a replacement.
Greatly appreciate any help!0 -
