    The only VOLVO badged radios that have any chance of being decoded on these free Help Boards are the ones made by PHILIPS. I believe that this one is a MITSUBISHI so it`s a trip to the Volvo Main dealer or Ebay/Google for a Radio Decode Specialist

    Thanks for the info - at least now I know I have to pay up.

    Are there no numbers stamped in the metal casing ?

    I have an old Ford calculator for seven digit serial numbers. ( from the 1980s I think ) ...but the codes are only three digit.
    0090672 = 114
    0068849 = 685
  • Can any 1 help me with a code for a 6000cd serial code M173234, had a code on the side 6838 does not work, comes up with a car plate that has been scrapped
