As I haven't had any replies to my original post have I given insufficient info. I think the radio is original, and I can supply the VIN if required.

The PU-9679 is made by CLARION ( and not Philips)and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.

(There are usually two barcodes on one label. The one required is the lower one )

If not then unfortunately it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service

    Hi,
Can anyone help with my Renault Clio Radio? Previous owner swapped the radio out for his own and never got the code...

    Phillips 22DC679/62B
    77 00 818 279 --D
    FD01 94 06 1184791
    Ser RN679FR1184791

    Thanks!

Post ALL the letters and numbers on any labels or barcodes.

There should also be a Security Number in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode
