Code entry instructions: - yours would normally be by steering wheel remote controls. (I've listed both)

STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS
Switch Radio On - Display Shows 'CODE' quickly followed by
" 0000 " with the 1st digit flashing
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For FIRST Correct Digit
Press " ¬ " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For SECOND Correct Digit
Press " ¬ " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For THIRD Correct Digit
Press " ¬ " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For FOURTH Correct Digit
If the correct code number is now shown on the display
Press And Hold " ¬ " Until A Beep Is Heard (typically 3 seconds)

OR
FOR NON STEERING CONTROL
press the first preset button for the 1st digit,
second button for the 2nd digit
third button for 3rd digit
forth button for 4th digit
then press buttons 6 OR 5 to store. for 10 seconds

Just found a calculation on the internet which would suggest my code is 1311 ? I e add 1 to 1st number less 6, add 2 to second number less 6 etc

Is this correct? Dont want to enter the wrong number

Sorry mate, you're talking a load o' rubbish.......

Have a look on your radio's label to see if you have a bar code
C7000000xxxx. Post this number, for radio code calcualtion.

If you don't have this barcode, you will need to use a radio decoding service who will extract the code from 93c46 eeprom.
(Unless you're sure its the original radio, in which case the main dealer can recover code from VIN)

Trust me mate, I've been in the business for years.......
