hi after new clutch radio code lost anyone know the code for my radio.
serial number M006613
model 3000 traffic

Thanks again for the reply. Still no joy - well I am unable to get the radio out of it's casing, but I do have the log book and it states: Unit Type - FD 4500 Serial number - M012002. Audio System key code 6386. This serial number will be the same as the sticker on the radio if I were to be able to remove it. I have tried 6386 thismorning and it locks me out again for another 30 minutes.

Is this the "3 piece" unit, if so hold 6 & press 2 and the serial will show on the display.

This is what I think is going on. Contrary to what you think, I suspect that the serial number in your log book is not the same as the serial number on your Ford Radio. Probably the previous owner changed the radio and forgot to update the log book.

If molerat's suggestion to display the serial number does not help, it is worth it to buy the tools necessary to get your radio out. Then you will have the correct serial number and this matter will be settled once and for all.
