Thanks for the information, what a great help compared to rip off FORD garages !!
But not sure what happens after I wait for the instructions on the radio display saying WAIT 30 mins countdown which runs down when I turn the stereo on now. Do I have to wait until it runs down, or do I press the buttons, which do not seem to work now to input the code !!

Hi,

You have to wait until the countdown finishes. When you see CODE, you are ready to enter the code.

Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.

Once the code has been correctly selected on the radio's display, press button 5 to enter.
