    Hiya

Can someone help, need a radio code for Renault Megane Expression.

I can't find the serial number, where do I look?

There is a sticker inside the drivers door that has this long number on it?

    VF1BA0Bo524363145

    Does that do it?

    Help?

you need to remove the radio.
they are too small holes each side of the radio
use an old metal coat hanger 4 darts or very small screwdriver or long nails.
put into holes about 4-5cms and push outwards sideways
    and carefully pull radio forward.
you must do the holes on each side at the same time
Then post the numbers/letters from below the main barcode
something like 7700xxxxxxtt123 or 8200xxxxtt123 or
the security code like Q123 or T0U123
can be found in a small box then i can help you
    off of the radio
Hope this has helped you :j
  • Thanks wallbash, worked a treat. Much appreciated.

Thanks! Though this is going to turn into an ordeal, I can sense it.

Had a look at the radio and it only has 2 holes?!

Plus I got a alan key into each and did some pulling, its stuck! When I pulled really hard the dash dimmed!

Should it be that difficult to remove and only have 2 holes?

I only give advice on Ford radios , I post this link

Might be worth a look. Its requires fairly long wire/nails/ keys , maybe more than 4 cms
  • Fitted new battery to Focus. No code for Ford/Sony headunit.
    HELP PLEASE.
    Serial No. V056402

Sorry you have a V number not a M number. You won't find a free or cheap answer on the web . Go back to Fords.
  • Thanks anyway. Keep up the good work.
It's off to Ford in the morning to get my purse lightened.
