Good day all could I please ask for help in reseting the code of a nissan micra (2005) cd/radio after a battery change and resulting loss of code, Type BP3349 serial Number 47341564, the nissan dealers told me it would have to be sent away at a cost of 35 pound?? etc, so a friend recomended me to your excellent site, I thank you in anticipation and for your help.

Press button 1 repeatedly until 8 appears in the first space.
Press button 2 repeatedly until 6 appears in the second space.
Press button 3 repeatedly until 1 appears in the third space
Press button 4 repeatedly until 8 appears in the fourth space
Press button 5 to enter the code.

What exactly does it show on the screen ?

Try pressing the "select" button ?

It just has - - - - on the screen and none of the buttons (except the power) seems to do anything.
