  • Hi there,

I accidentally left my lights on (because the warning sound doesn't work) and drained my battery, so had to take it out to charge and now the radio is locked and the supplied code doesn't work. So I was wondering if someone could help me out?! :)

    My serial is M115940

    Many thanks in advance!!

Hey thanks for the quick reply, that is however, the code I've tried using as it's in my Audio Guide booklet, but it doesn't work :s Is there anything else I can try before I ring Ford up and get charged extortionate amounts for them to sort it out?

    Cheers,

    Gary

No, I got the code from the booklet that was in the glove compartment. Hmmm, I got the car second hand so I don't know for certain that the booklet I have actually belongs to this car. There's also no yellow sticker from what I can see, is there any other way of finding the serial number on the hardware itself?

    Thanks again,

    Gary

On newer "3 piece" units press 6&2 and code will come on screen. On older units remove from the dash and take the number from the sticker or etched on the side of the unit. http://www.fitaudio.com/?View=entry&EntryID=25
