no this code did not work :(this is the default code and it didnt work

hi there,
my 2002 ford ka stereo requires the code as a new battery was installed, its second hand and i have the original booklet it came with - i tried the default code supplied which was 4935 however this DID NOT work, the serial number is m030438, if any one could help i would really appriciate it.

jojolala we can only give you the code for the M****** you supplied .

M030438 comes out as 4935.
Did you get the M number off the radio
I.e have you removed the radio from the dashboard. located the yellow sicker??
