I`m not too sure that many SONY can be decoded by Serial Number (unless from your Main Dealer who might have a database of their cars+radio codes) otherwise it will most likely have to be decoded by a Decode Specialist using electronic kit.

I wouldn`t like to recommend anyone in particular as I`ve never had to use one .
There is a well known professional regular on Ebay ( DND Services) who claims to be good .( but don`t they all !)
Also the more customer friendly one I`ve seen is via codes4u dot co dot uk (swop the dot for . as this MSE site does not like links) where, if they can`t do it by Serial Number, then they can physically decode it for a fair price of £15 including return p+p

Repeat...I can not personally recommend either.

• Hi, I have a peugeot partner with a locked radio after a flat battery. Typical!
The radio is a Philips phacff19267362 , t0t736 it has this number among others. Also it says ref. citroen: 96 392 192 8002
phf9267362

I tried different things but I can get the right code. Does anyone know why it says citroen? How can I get the annoying code? I can't live without music!!!
I'll be extremely grateful if someone can give me a clue. Thank you!

These French (Renault)/Citroen/Peugeot ) Philips codes are not readily available and so this Serial Number is not in my PHILIPS database but if you contact restoredclassic@aol.com with all the above details then they should be able to do it for you.
