I think you will have to remove the actual unit to get the serial numbers.

my radio is locked i dont know what to do the part number is f17f-18c815-ac and the serial number is 4414. can anyone help? its a 1992 ford explorer if that helps. thank you

Sorry there are over 80 variations on the Ford units (way too many to sit and check part numbers!) so it will help if you quote the model. Ford units are typically M followed by 6 numbers, so I suspect that 4414 may be the code. I assume you got that number from the vehicle paperwork. Remove the unit and look for the Mxxxxxx number
