Hi Guys, just baught a 'new' old vauxhall omega, never bothered testing radion before leaving dealership but when i did it was in safe mode.

I've got 2 tries left before it locks up permanently. Just managed to get the head unit out after a bit of a fight with it.

If anyone here can provide the code for it from the serial i'd be eternally grateful!

    Serial: GM0804S1156548

    model: SC 804 CDC

    Fingers n toes crossed :)
Even if you just reply to say it cant be done, thanks anyway.

As you have already been advised on another forum

Main Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service only for this code

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C 7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
