    I need a code to reset the radio in my Mondeo, I can't figure out how to get the radio out the to get to the serial number though... can I find it anywhere else(I don't have any manuals as the car was 2nd hand). thanks

    On some units you can press 5 + 2 or 6 + 2 and this will give the serial. If that does not work then afraid it will have to come out.

    There appears to be different units depending on the year
    For 93-96 have a look HERE
    For 03 onwards look HERE
    Both these instructions say to use special keys. It is NOT neccesary to buy them, a bit of fiddling with a couple of thin screwdrivers or even wire coathangers will get you there

    Scroll back a few pages and you may find you have to provide a bit more info like all the numbers quoted on the unt and any barcodes and maybe starting 'Can anyone help.......' (It's nice to be nice when asking for something)
