Unfortunately the majority of VW codes (including yours ) are not available for free from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database

Only available from your Main VW Dealer ....or a Decoding Service who will connect it to a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

Your CDR500 is made by SIEMENS/VDO (DELCO and unfortunately these codes are not obtainable for free (using the Serial Number) from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database which is only available to the Main Dealer or one the larger professional Decode Services.

The alternative is for your radio to be taken/posted to a Decode Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop who will plug it into a laptop and electronically read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
