My 5 year old neice just asked me 'how come his name is a swear word?'
Fair question I thought, could not really answer her.

The service provided is willingly done for free , but some times the correct response
is ... 'i have better things to do'
  • The number was in the box of fucibless near the engine.
    Luck to all

Best if you repost in the CAR RADIO UNLOCKING thread at the top of the 'stickies' http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=26827

You will also have to post ALL the numbers on the radio and any barcodes that are on it

    Try code 9758

That worked. Cheers! Saved me a trip to the dealers.
  • Hi all, i'm new here :)
Same story as most people really, disconnected battery and don't know the required code. If anyone can help, that would be awesome.

    2005 Ford Fiesta Zetec S
    Serial No. M126485
    Model. B3 LOW CD

I think they are the only numbers required.

    thanks in advance
  • I've an 06 Focus with a 6000CD radio.

I'd rather not take the radio out unless I have to. I haven't got the SN but 1 and 6 gives me some info but nothing that looks like a SN.

Can anyone help - or is it just a case of buy the tools and get the radio out to look?

    many thanks

    Take the radio out .
But using a cut down wire coat hanger works well.

You need 2 wire u -bends ( hence the coat hanger)
