(Replaced battery, and the code in the manual wasn't the one! If I've put 10 wrong entries in, am I stuffed?!)

Hopefully not yet!!!!! switch the stereo on and leave it, could take an hour to clear. With luck that will do it.

There should be another 14 character Serial Number ...usually stamped in the metal casing

Thanks the display says Lock 10, so i will leave the stereo on for a bit. Do I need to leave the key in? (seen on another forum to "reset" it, leave the radio on, but take the key out).

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
C7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

Almost certain if you take the key ot it will kill power to stero!!!

It's worked! (after an hour it was still showing Lock 10, but found holding Preset 6 in gave another code opportunity and entered the code)
