    Assuming you have not been using random numbers, where did you get the previous 9 codes from?

    Where did you get the serial number from? If from vehicle paperwork I would be wary. If you have not done so then I think I would take the unit out and check it.

    If you cannot (or do not know how to) take it out and If it is showing Code 9 then turn the stereo on and leave it till it clears.(could take up to an hour)

    Just a thought!

    The thing is I bought the car and the technical paperwork wasn't there.I have no service book. And it was "You have last try" then i turned it on.
    To get my serial I used 6+2 trick and it worked out wonders(didn't needed to pull it out)
    Whole codes i have been founding today were like : 6082 - but how the hell i can put in 8 if my best number on radio is 6?

    It looks like this: (cant insert image , but you can google it it surely has 1 2 3 4 5 6,no 7 or 9 whatsoever).

    Any experts on this kind of situations?:cool:

    Glad the 6+2 worked for you

    Repeatedly press button 1 till 6 shows
    Repeatedly press button 2 till 0 shows
    Repeatedly press button 3 till 8 shows
    Repeatedly press button 4 till 2 shows
    then press and hold button 5 for a few seconds, unit should 'beep'

    CODE = 6154 :beer:
  • Just bought my dad a 2nd hand 2001 Renault Megane, and the guy I bought it from kindly put a new battery in for the aul fella, but now we've realised that the security code has come on. The local Renault dealer wants £25 +VAT for the code "because of the special system they use"... (Yeah, that's what I thought).

    The dealer we bought it from doesn't have codes and the original dealer will happily supply the code free, but is 110 mile round trip to go pick it up! (You have to supply photo ID to get it, it seems, fair enough I suppose, but dad is getting on a bit)

    Are these decoding websites kosher? Or can someone on here tell me a better way to get sorted???

    Thanks in advance guys!
