    Hi everybody,

Could you help me to unlock my Saab radio please? I think its Clarion.
Here is all information from type shield.

    SAAB
    42 32 765
    YS2765R1027766
    PU-9715A
    286-7981-02

    Many Thanks
    Joe
Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
    C7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

Please quote any 14 character Serial Number beginning with RG or PH or GM or similar...often found stamped in the metal casing

  • Hi All,

First time on the forum but I'm a big fan of the website. I recently inherited a car from my Grandad and the radio is losked - no code. The garage has quoted me £16 (and tried to charge £35 to remove the radio but nice guy in Halfords did it for free!). I have the following info:

    Philips SC201 (C)
    Type: 90381124

Is that all the information that I need for someone to give me the code?

Thanks in advance for any help :)

There should be a 14 character Serial Number beginning with
RG ++++++++++++ or PH or GM or similar...usually stamped in the metal casing

  • Hi Reg
The number was wrong - a scratch made me think it was an eight
    GM0608V1034639
    Should be

    GM0600V1034639

Your other source asked for a photo, and as they say, the camera never lies. Unlike my clapped out old eyes.
