kenwood krc578rcode needed ive been told its 5986 and now i have instuctions to input this but radi keeps saying "Waiting3" what hav i done wrong

One problem I`m having is the Serial Number
GM020317614160 02 1465 as it appears to have too many digits.

Can you say which MAKE of CAR it is fitted in as that can make a difference as well and then I`ll see what I can make of it.

I`ve had another look at it and ask you to try 9376

As I said previously the confusion is being caused by the Serial No. GM020317614160 02 1465

I think that it is telling you that you have entered several wrong codes.

Try leaving it switched ON for a period of time (overnight if possible) and it might reset itself
