hi guys how do i get the serial number of my 2.0 ford focus stereo? i dont know how to pull it out it seems extremely put. I bought this second hand so i dont have the manual.

please anyone help. be a lifesaver. i need my daily dose of mariah!!!!

Comes out failry easy!

It is possible to not use the extractors shown in video by:
these can be made from 2 pieces of bent, wire coat-hanger or 4 small drills(using the blunt end) or 4 small Allen Keys or 4 small screwdrivers or 4 nails or even 4 darts.

Will include instructions for putting in code when you post serial number

thing is i dont have those ''ford radio tools'' mentioned in the video huhuhu

how do i do it? and granted that my car is not like the one on the video, would it be possible for you guys to still get that code for me?? :mad:

The video is an example on how to remove most units Ford's tend to be double size, Others single. In the majority of cases they all come out the same ; ie 4 holes that you 'prod' with a tool, One each side. Or as in the post you can use 4 slim items (nails, screwdrivers etc) If you cannot get it out using these then go to your local car shop or Halfords, they cost around £4 and they fit most units not just Ford.

If your serial starts with M then we can decode it
