  • Well sort of but you have to add on the £13.00 Woolworths delivery fee.

"This item incurs an additional delivery charge of £13 per item."

    Its included above. £399.99 + 4.95 + 13

    £417.94 - 10% = 376.15 - 5% = £357.34

    Hi blueroo,

The Woolies discount doesn't work with Comet items so it costs more to go through Woolies!
  • Just about to post this myself. Found out when i got to checkout.......GUTTED!

But its still slightly cheaper, as woolies have a higher quidco payment than comet......not much but £4 in your pocket!!

If you're prepared to wait a day or 2 longer for delivery, then the free delivery option at Comet still makes it the better deal!

Ahh yes, they've put the free delivery back on this item.
    This option wasn't there yesterday.

    Many thanks

The strange thing is, if you choose any item the 10% discount doesnt seem to deduct the amount of the total but does say:

"Your voucher for "10% Mail Discount" has been successfully added to your account."

So does it do it afterwards or should you be able to see it at checkout??

Here you go, this is what is says after you order: "The above value is total order price. If you have redeemed vouchers you will be debited the amount shown in Your Account"
  • Hi, have already ordered this through Comet but delivery won't be until next Thursday. Ater seeing this thread, decided to order through Woolies & cancel comet order.

Have placed the order, using the 10% discount code, but even though accepted, as above, the total amount is still showing £414, even after I checked my account, it still states the same amount.

Unable to locate a phone no. with Woolies, so have sent them an e-mail instead. Anyone used this code previously & actually got the discount?

    Thanks!

    Hi jonny5,

The actual amount to pay is clearly shown at the checkout before you confirm the transaction and DOES include any discount vouchers or codes.

The amount shown in your e-mail confirmation DOES NOT show the discount.

The amount shown under "My Orders" in "My Account" DOES show any discount(s).

    HTH :)

P.S. In this case, even though you get the message that the discount code has been successfully activated, it does not actually take any money off this particular item as it is an excluded product.
