2 cars to insure???

Hi i just passed my test yesterday and my partner wants to get me a car, He already has insurance that i am insured on too, what is the best way to insure the second car???

In your name, with you down as the main user of the vehicle and him as an additional driver. That way you start to earn your own no claims bonus.
If he does the insurance in his name and you are the main user of the vehicle he must tell insurers this otherwise he is "fronting" and not disclosing all material facts.
He will not be able to use his bonus on both vehicles so although he might get a starter NCD on the second vehicle it will still be based on your age and experience.
Good place to start would be a call to the existing insurers and see what they come up with. Be prepared to pay a fairly high premium as you will be classed as inexperienced and will have no bonus.0
