Optoma Projector major fault

We bought a projector 2 years ago and it has just developed a fault with the DMD chip resulting in "stuck" pixels
I contacted the manufacturer who said I have to pay for the repair, the original bulb is still in.
Can I get them to repair it for free as it is not fit for purpose?

Given that it is over 6 months old you need to prove that the fault was inherant at the time of purchase. An engineers report should be sufficient.
You need to contact the retailer first, your contract is with them.Thinking critically since 1996....0
