Have been using once very happily but have a dark hallway and wondering if the light and space range is worth it or just a gimick

I'd hesitate to publicly call it a gimmick but its a nice little marketing ploy - just like Once TBH.

No, like keystone says, its a marketing ploy, any light colour will give you light, or buy a big mirror to reflect light.0

I'm considering using this in my fairly dark north facing lounge, will be really interesting to see if it works well, the current wall colour is fairly light anyway.0

Agree totally with this. We have a narrow hallway, we removed the downstairs window to fit in a utility room and when the door is shut the hall is very dark. But like misgrace suggested we bought 3 wavy mirrors and placed them up the hall and it now reflects the bit of light from the upstairs landing window and has made a massive difference. Also means I can still use quite neutral and natural colours on the wall without having to paint it white or "off" white.0 -
I tried some tester pots and it didn't do it for me... just didn't like the colours... Went for Almond White for the hallway/stairs/landing, good lighting and will be putting some big mirrors up.
