    Davy - I don't think that root canal treatment will do anything to save the tooth for much longer if it has already started to crack and crumble. Once a filling gets too large, the walls may simply no longer be strong enough to withstand the pressure when you chew.

    Dental treatment in this country really is a problem if you cannot afford to go private.
