I got my experian report, and have just canclled. They said it will expire at the end of the trial period.

They didn't fill me with confidence that they will cancel it as it was only verbal, I was wondering if they are doing the classic, "yeah it will be cancelled on.." and then don't cancel it hence charge you. Anyone had this?

I'll ring again and ask the status of my account, if they say it isn't to be cancelled i'll give 'em an ear full.

Didnt the terms and conditions say that the cancellation must be done by writting/ email? I know I emailed them to cancel it and they confirmed it by email back so I had it in writing in case they had "forgotten" to cancel it on their system

I cancelled by email just before the expiry and they still charged me. I wrote a snotty email and they refunded the same day.

  • They're actually really good about refunds.

I've had the free trial twice now and forgot to cancel it both times! They've refunded the amount straight away no questions asked, no hassle. They're a great company.
