A snuggle up together and a romantic snore together is a bit of a let down.

Not when you've got many moe happy years together.

We didn't. He got drunk and passed out :rotfl:

I was pregnant & sober so a bit like this at the time >

We've made up for it since :D

Its not a let down for people who have already been there & done that. As you are not planning to do it until you get married though I can see why you would see it as a let down. :)

I am, of course, talking about 'it'. 'it' is eating chocolate cake in bed isn't it?

That is what we are all talking about isn't it?
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

We did it. We left the reception around 10.30 I think, and hadn't had too much to drink. We both wanted to remember our wedding reception, not pass out after drinking too much.

Oh dear mate, is the wife really mean to you and won't she play with you?
Oh she plays all right .. its just that her deifnition of 'poker' and mine differ significantly (for some reason hers seems to contain little card board things that you have to collect in patterns) :D

I am looking forward to it and I do not want any let downs, but I would not say no to some cake

Same here. I love a drink, but I did not want to get drunk and spoil the day/wedding night. Neither did my husband. So we went easy on the booze and left early.

I have all my life to get drunk, but you only get one wedding day!

I wonder why it is, that young men are always cautioned against bad girls. Anyone can handle a bad girl. It's the good girls men should be warned against.-David Niven

My wedding night was the stuff of romantic dreams!(NOT). My darling husband just about went beserk when he discovered our room did not have a tv for him to watch Match of the Day!!!!!! He stormed out of the hotel and we ended up in a Bed and Breakfast where he got to see his beloved programme.

It was a portent of things to come and we divorced after two years!!!!!

We didn't do it on our wedding night - too tired.

We've now been married 4 years. We'll get around to it soon.
