What could have happened?
I switched the computer on this morning and the viewing screen has a black border around it ........its "shrunk"....(new technical term)...smiles
It was perfectly ok last time I used the computer and I am the only one who uses it.
I know that for every problem there is a solution.....
Please help.
Kind regards
Clare

Thank you Jason for your prompt reply.
However when I logged in again all was well.
Prior to reporting this thread I did check the screen resolution and it was showing at 800x600 ( if that is what you are meaning) and that has not changed.
Is this an unsolved mystery?
I dont know why it happened in the first place.
But thank you nonetheless.

It may be the monitor settings, If you press the menu button on the monitor, then scroll to 'stretch' left and right <--> symbol and press +, then do the same for the up and down.

My monitor does this occasionally as well, sometimes at startup, sometimes while it is being used. Just for a few seconds and then it corrects itself. I dont know if it's a monitor or graphics card problem, but as it doesn't happen too often, I'm not too concerned by it.
