Cheap week near Paris

Hi,
Our family- 2 adults and 4 kids(15 down to 7) have been lucky enough to be treated to a week in a campsite outside Paris (Berny Riviere) in September. My sister knows we are skint and has paid for a caravan with decking for us!!( We home-ed our children so can go out of term time.)
I just wondered if anyone had any ideas for things to do that are cheap and do-able with packed meals etc.
We would love to go to Paris for the day and can obviously take sandwiches etc, but I guess will have to leave the car outside and train in-is it very expensive?? Also , any recommendations for cheap places to go in Paris, to see the sites?
We've paid for the eurotunnel using clubcard vouchers- only cost £40!!
Is Park Asterix worth it, they take vouchers but only open on a weekend in Sept-does it get very busy then??
Thanks for reading and any offers of help.

We went to Berny Riviere in July for 1 week. It was our first time there and we had a fantastic time. Most of the time was spent on site at the pools or round by the lake or the kids play area. Altho We did go to Disneyland Paris for 1 day and we also went into Paris. The campsite run coaches to both places however we found it easier to drive as the coach was quite expensive. When we went into Paris we drove to Stade De France and parked there for the whole day - think it cost us 12 euros - there is a train station nearby and we got the train to Notre Dame which was a 5 minute ride. Think it was another 5 euros or so for 2 adults and 1 child altho cant remember exactly. We took a coolbag with sandwiches drinks etc to DLP however in Paris we just got crepes from the street vendors...they were delicious and only 3 euros. Only other advice i can give u is get a leisure card for activities at the campsite...the pedaloes, bouncy castle etc cost 2 euros a go however if u buy a card for 10 euros they will give u 20 euros to spend!:money:
U will all have a great time..wish we were going back soon!0 -
