Bun, can you pay your course fees in installments? I know you still have to find the money but it'll be more spread out, I know the local college here lets you do that.

No idea about MBNA, if you can find the money great, if not just let them get on with it. You're doing all you can, and they can't have what you don't have, so they can whistle.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
  • Exactly Ames, my thoughts precisely. I have left DH to think about it...at the end of the day I will have to pay him back but he will be the one who has to fund it.

You can pay for the course in 3 installments-which makes it a bit better (and we will put it on DH Tesco CC and get some points for it!) but would prefer the loan really. Would still pay with card, but then pay off the card!

Luckily, the course teacher said yesterday that we will be cutting as soon as October so even if people dont mind me 'practicing' on them doing a trim etc and charging a VERY small fee, it will all be money in the pot. My 206 has gone in the paper and I will sell loads of stuff on eBay!

    Hi Bunny,
Offer MBNA and offer £300! Tell them that this would be a one off opportunity due to the generosity of a relative.
Also make the offer of maintaining the current level of repayment for the next 6 months and then reveiwing it. they'll probably go for that.
I owe them just over £8K and pay just under 1% of the balance each month, they are happy with this ( not charging interest either). They LIKE to be communicated with. I did most of my neg over the phone with them.

...or you could sell your body:p
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

....one-way ticket to Portugal booked !
